Whether it's a Wedding, Civil Partnership, Retirement or Birthday a signature plate is a lovely commemoration that you will treasure!

Your plate will be decorated before your event with the required names, dates and an agreed centre design.  You then leave the plate for your guests to sign during your event.

What next?

1.  Kiln finishing

If your plate or other pottery will be used, as opposed to just displayed, then this is the only way to ensure that those precious messages stay forever! The plate we will have provided will not have been glazed and your guests will write on the plate with a provided permanent marker.  After the event, the pottery is returned to the studio and each message is over-painted by hand.  The plate is then glazed and re-fired in our kiln.

2.  Home oven-finishing

If the finished pottery is just for display then these oven-fire pens are for you!  We will provide you with a ready-glazed plate and your guests will write their messages with a special oven-fire pen.  After the event, follow the provided instructions to bake the item in your home-oven to fix the messages.

Either way, the end result is an exceptional memento of your day that will be admired and treasured for a lifetime.

Of course you don't need to be restricted to plates!  We have used fruit bowls, tea pots, piggy banks and more for signature items and they all look fabulous!

We are truly delighted with our Christening plate and used it recently at Benedict's first birthday party. We covered the plate with cupcakes and, as they were eaten by our guests, the signatures and well-wishes were gradually revealed. Everyone was really interested and excited - it was quite a talking point ! We will probably hang the plate on our nursery wall but intend to use it at special occasions"
